چکیده
Läßt man in dem Gefäßpaar nur ein Gas entste hen, z. B. Kohlensäure, indem man aus den Birnen Säure in Bicarbonat einkippt, so muß der Versuch Xq2 = 0 ergeben; läßt man nur Sauerstoff entstehen, indem man aus den Birnen z. B. Katalase in Wasser stoffperoxyd einkippt, so muß der Versuch xco2 = 0 ergeben. Mit diesen beiden einfachen Kontrollen, bei denen immer die Einkippdrucke abzuziehen sind, kann man sich überzeugen, daß die Eichung der Gefäße stimmt; daß die Retention der Kohlensäure stimmt; daß man richtig gerechnet hat; und daß die Methode, bei hinreichend großen Druckänderungen, genauer ist als die meisten biologischen Probleme es erfordern.
